Originally formed in Portsmouth in 198? Original members Mark and Frank kept the music happening at College while studying for Degrees. The band jammed extensively while at Queen Mary College in the early 80's. Also we played live at some free festivals. Very psychedelic, very out there, very unaccessable at times. We recorded many sessions where the tape was left running. Recordings would be edited and improvised over again live. Also the band re-recorded many of their previously written songs. Below are some of my remastered recordings from the college era.

Although technically not Ethel, I include some of the many incredible pieces recorded with Mark in our Montrose House studio.

Mac and Safari users will need to click on the right hand links for full track playback.
